As we enter 2010, many questions regarding the future of the economy nationally, regionally and locally still linger in every ones minds. The uncertainty of this unprecedented period makes each one of us wonder when we will see a recovery.
I would like insure you that the Board of Directors and Management of the bank are dedicated to the management of a conservative community bank. Our focus is to ensure the safety, soundness, and continuity of the bank while maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of customer service. I am excited about the future of the bank. The Foothills Bank is proud to report that we're as strong as ever. We have again been rated a Five Star bank by BauerFinancial, Inc. This most recent rating marks fifteen consecutive quarters of five-star ratings for our institution. Our capital ratio, which is an indication of our net worth is very strong, and enhances our ability to weather tough economic times. We are considered well capitalized by our regulators and have a capital ratio that is stronger than most of our peer banks. Our loan portfolio continues to grow in a balanced, conservative manner. We have not experienced the dramatic increase in delinquent loans to the level that many financial institutions around the country have experienced.
